چکیده

Title: Active system for mapping. This report describes a method that provide a solution to the problem of mapestimation. The main task here is to obtain a map of the working area for a robot. This map should be obtained in real time and with inexpensive requirements. These two tasks are important for robotics application since we want a tool (the robot) that can work as reliable (as fast) as us. In other words, the robot should be able to orientate itself in a room easily and alike a human by using a fast-created map. Also to be use to such robots, its equipments should be cheap and simple. In this report the description of a new and simple method that provide the above mentioned solution is presented. Also this paper gives suggestions about the application areas and potential improvements of the system.
